WinRAR is one of the widely used archive (compress) programs that provide the complete support for various and major archive formats. Most of compressed files like software and games you download from the internet are compressed using WinRAR. Additionally, WinRAR provides a tone of useful and handy options to make your archive files more reliable and usable. However, sometime you download a compressed file and when you double-click on the file to open it, you see a WinRAR error message that says “The archive is either in unknown format or damaged”.
